You’re right the wars aren’t the only thing on the USA national debt!
The main reason as far as I’m concerned that the USA National debt is at approximately $17 trillion dollars today. Is because of the deficits that BOTH BUSH&OBAMA have created with over $1 trillion average annual deficits since 2008 The bailing out the banks has been what has kept the deficits extremely high the last 5 years so in a nutshell under Obama’s deficits have been bailing out the banks and the rich of America!

You keep stating the wars like they are the cause of whats going on today, it’s estimated we spent $3.7 Trillion on the both wars in 12 years, Obama has spent almost $7 Trillion with the wars basically over. ITS NOT THE WARS! it’s his continual growth of government programs and entitlements that we cannot afford, and he refuses to cut spending, there’s your problem in a nutshell.

I admit we should have never gone into Iraq, but don’t sit there and act like it was all a Republican idea, Democrats had a hand in both wars as well. The only reason the banks are afloat these days is the Federal Reserve keeps pumping in money to keep the interest rates low, which will end up making things worse in the end when it collapses. Obama will have use in $20 trillion + in national debt before his Presidency is over, Mark My Words

No you’re so right it’s always the democrats fault RIGHT like the war in IRAQ and the unregulated banking industry which collapsed so I guess you know everything after all it’s NEVER the GOP’S FAULT since they are SO PERFECT LMFAO!

“…rivers and seas boiling…”? It would be wise to make smart spending cuts. Also, the debt may soon surpass the GDP and that won’t be good. Bush tax cuts were supposedly given as a macroeconomic fiscal policy to create jobs not as an entitlement program.

CALL YOUR HOUSE REPRESENTATIVES and tell them you don’t want to pay for corporate jets, tell them to close corporate loop holes, and cut unnecessary agricultural and oil subsides that democrats have proposed to help pay down the debt.

According to “McConnell Brue Flynn Macroeconomics 19e, “discretionary fiscal policy (2001-2009) relied on tax breaks rather than on changes in spending as its main tool to fight the recession after the dot.com bubble in 2001 even though there was still a surplus. The tax breaks were supposed to create jobs but the economy was already at nearly full employment so the more likely consequence is that it raised prices, lowered wages and crowded out IRA investments-Then 9/11 and the mortgage crisis

Bush didn’t invest in infrastructure either. That’s why roads, bridges, energy facilities, etc. have been crumbling. Except for the prescription plan and the wars, government has actually gotten much smaller over the last decade.

The GOP said the President should take it to the people, then they said they can’t work without the President there to supervise them. Both the President and the Senate have submitted current budget proposals. Democrats say the proposal Boehner is talking about has expired.

Spending and the size of government has been shrinking since republicans palmed their economic catastrophe off on president Obama. Revenue fell dramatically during the bush/republican led economic contraction of 2007-08. Not that facts are any concern of you republican loving morons. How many times does your incompetent party of lying rats have to fuck you morons in the ass before you get it? REPUBLICANS ARE CORPORATE WHORING LIARS!!!!
